One common cause is the rubber foot under the eject button pressing against it. You might want to try setting your PS4 on a flat, hard surface or even remove that foot.

Had the same issue! I turned off the PS4 completely, unplugged it, held the power button down for 30 seconds, then plugged it back in. Worked like a charm.

Just change the position of your console. Sometimes, a simple repositioning does the trick.

Make sure your PS4 firmware is up to date. Sometimes these bugs get patched out with system updates.

I had this problem, and it turned out to be dust in the eject button sensor. A quick clean fixed it.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
