First off, check if your PS4 is overheating. The console might be shutting down to protect itself. Clean the vents and ensure it's in a well-ventilated area. It could also be a power issue, so try plugging it into a different outlet or check if the power cord is faulty.

Hey, this happened to me before. Make sure the software is up to date. Sometimes a bug in the system software can cause random shutdowns. Go to Settings > System Software Update and see if there's an update available.

Let's keep it simple – unplug the PS4, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in. Sometimes a hard reset solves random shutdowns.

Honestly, it could be a hardware fault. If cleaning and updating don’t work, you might need to contact Sony support or take it to a repair shop.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
