It's probably due to HDMI-CEC settings. If you have this enabled, your TV might be turning it on!

Make sure no mischievous ghosts are in your house! Just kidding鈥攗sually, it's a settings issue with HDMI-CEC or network connections.

It could be rest mode settings or auto-update features. Check the power saving settings and see if anything is set to wake the console.

Honestly, it's like the little guy just craves attention. But seriously, it's likely either HDMI-CEC or auto-update settings. Check those first!

Sometimes other devices connected to your network can wake the PS5. Try isolating it from other smart devices to test.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
