Why does my Steam download keep going to 0 bytes?
RollingHank路7 months agoSteam downloads might drop to 0 bytes for a few reasons! Your internet connection could be unstable, or Steam's servers are overloaded. Sometimes, it's just a simple glitch that restarting your download or Steam itself can fix. Also, check your Steam settings; there's an option to limit download rates, and it might be set too low by mistake.

Honestly, it's probably just your internet. Steam's usually solid.
If your Steam download speed keeps hitting 0 bytes, it could be your firewall or antivirus acting up. Try adding Steam and your game folders to the exception lists on these programs. Helped me solve the issue a couple of times!
ISP throttling gaming downloads? Happens. Try changing your download region in Steam settings; sometimes, a less congested server does the trick.
Servers don't like you. JK, it's probably just network congestion. Try downloading at off-peak hours!
