Spotify can be a bit temperamental if your internet connection is unstable. Make sure you've got a solid Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection.
My Spotify used to glitch out until I realized my firewall settings were blocking it occasionally. Check your firewall/antivirus settings!
Hate to say it, but sometimes the issue is just...your computer. Try using it on a different device to see if the problem persists.
