Because it's an older title! Graphics were okay for its time but don't hold up well now. Still fun though!
It’s not a next-gen title so don't expect the latest graphics tech. Consider playing on PC if you want better visuals.
I play State of Decay on Xbox One all the time, and trust me, it's all about survival, not graphics! Focus on strategy instead!
