Why does War Thunder keep flying me into the ground?

Make sure you're not stalling. In War Thunder, if you pull up too sharply or fly too slow, you'll stall and crash.
Honestly, it happens to everyone. The game has a learning curve, especially with realistic physics. Keep practicing, you'll get the hang of it!
Maybe try the tutorial again? It covers some of these issues and can be a lifesaver!
Check your control settings. Sometimes the default bindings can be a bit janky. Tweaking them might save you some crash landings.
