First, make sure your microphone's properly set up and working in other apps. If it is, check the TF2 audio settings and ensure voice chat is enabled and bound to a key.
Check if you accidentally muted yourself in-game. If your mic works elsewhere, it's probably a settings issue in TF2.
If you're on Windows, check the privacy settings to see if the game is allowed to access your microphone. It's an easy fix!
Make sure your mic isn't muted and that you've selected the correct input device in your audio settings. Team chat depends on these!
