Why Has Attack on Titan Season 2 Stopped?
Season 2 didn't really stop, it just took forever to get released! The first season ended in 2013, and fans had to wait until 2017 for Season 2. Production delays and ensuring the anime stayed faithful to the manga are likely the reasons for the long wait.

Production delays. They wanted it perfect.
I actually remember waiting patiently for years! They wanted to stick closely to the manga and deliver top-notch quality, which took time. It was worth it though!
