Adopt Me can get pretty laggy sometimes because of the sheer number of players and the detailed environment! Try lowering your graphics settings.
Large servers and complex game environments are a perfect recipe for lag. That's just the way the cookie crumbles!
From my experience, it's usually worse during peak hours. If you play when fewer people are online, it's much smoother.
Honestly, it's probably your device struggling to keep up. Give it a break or lower the graphics settings to smooth things out.
