Cloud from Final Fantasy VII is in Super Smash Bros because he's an iconic character from one of the most beloved RPGs of all time. Nintendo wanted to include a wide range of music, moves, and magic from different games, so adding Cloud was a no-brainer!

Cloud is in Smash Bros because his hair is spiky enough to cut through the competition. That buster sword doesn't hurt, either.

Cloud鈥檚 popularity and iconic status in the gaming industry made him a perfect fit. Plus, don't we all love a good buster sword smash?
