It's not on Steam because the devs probably didn't want to deal with the cut Steam takes from sales. Sometimes, devs opt for other platforms where they keep a bigger piece of the pie.

Dark and Darker isn't on Steam because it's likely still under development or the developers have chosen to release it on a different platform initially. Steam has a massive library, but not every game ends up there, especially if devs are looking at other distribution methods or exclusive deals.

I think Dark and Darker isn't on Steam yet because they might be aiming for an exclusive release elsewhere first. Or maybe they're still polishing the game. Seen it happen before with other games that took their sweet time showing up on Steam.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
