Demon Slayer is rated R because of its intense violence, graphic scenes, and mature themes. It's got demons slicing and dicing—definitely not kid-friendly!

Main reason? The graphic violence and dark themes. It's got enough demon decapitations to make a horror movie blush.

The show has a lot of blood and gore, which makes it R-rated. Think twice before letting younger viewers watch it alone.

I watch the show and can tell you, it's the intense action and disturbing imagery that give it the R rating. It keeps you on the edge, for sure!

Honestly, it should be obvious: it’s the grotesque demon fights and mature content that push it into R territory.
