Why is Fallout 76 not on Steam?
Actually, Fallout 76 did make its way to Steam in April 2020! Before that, Bethesda was going solo with their own launcher, but I guess they wanted to open up to the wider Steam community. So, if you're looking to grab it on Steam, you're in luck; it's there now.

Fallout 76 isn't on Steam 'cause Bethesda chose to launch it exclusively on their own Bethesda.net platform. It's pretty common for game companies to do this; they get to keep all the profits without sharing a cut with other platforms. Plus, it lets them have more control over the game's release and updates!
