Honestly, cuz they can charge that much. GTA's got a massive fanbase that's been waiting years for this. They know most of us will cough up the cash no matter what.

It's all about the hype and the amount of work put into the game. Rockstar Games puts years into developing these massive, detailed open worlds, packed with content. The development costs for games like GTA 6 are huge, considering the advanced graphics, the vast open-world, and the intricate storyline. Plus, it's GTA - they know you'll pay for it!

Inflation, my friend. Everything's getting pricier, not just video games. Also, consider the technological advancements and the sheer size of the game. You're not just buying a game; you're investing in an experience that took years to craft.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
