Honestly, if you want the uncensored version, just watch it on Crunchyroll or Funimation. Problem solved!

Hulu has to cater to a wide audience, so they err on the side of caution to avoid controversy. High School DxD Hero is pretty spicy, after all.

It's probably due to Hulu's content policies. They tend to censor more mature content to avoid getting flagged.

Hulu sometimes censors anime for a broader audience, especially if it has a lot of ecchi content, like High School DxD Hero does. Gotta keep it PG, right?

I noticed this too. From my experience, Hulu often censors content to make it suitable for more viewers, especially younger ones. You might want to try another platform if you want the full experience.

If you're a Highschool DxD fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
