Budget cuts, my friend. The anime industry can be a cruel mistress!
I noticed this too and did a little digging. Turns out, studios often reuse scenes to allocate more resources to new, more important scenes. It's kinda like recycling but for anime!
Been watching since the start. These reused scenes help refresh viewers' memories, especially since it's been a while since the last season!
