Season 4 of High School DxD, also known as High School DxD Hero, got censored to reach a broader audience and comply with broadcasting standards. Check out websites like Funimation where you can often find uncensored versions if that’s more your style!

From what I've heard, the new animation studio wanted to tone things down to appeal to a wider audience. I guess more viewers means more money?

Ugh, I know it sucks! The censorship is mainly due to stricter broadcasting guidelines. But don't worry, the DVDs and certain streaming services usually have the uncensored versions.

It's all about stricter broadcasting guidelines. Simple as that.
