If you're in a restricted zone, the grav jump doesn't work. Remember, space has rules too.
Could be a bug. Restart the game and see if the issue persists.
Your grav jump might be disabled if you're overweight with cargo – make sure to lighten your load, or your ship ain't going anywhere!
Just like in real life, you need a cooldown after a grav jump. Patience, captain!
