It's probably overheating because you're playing it in an enclosed space. Make sure your PS4 has plenty of ventilation. Don't let it suffocate!

Are you playing for long hours without giving it a break? Try taking a break and letting it cool down for a bit.

Mine was overheating because the thermal paste had dried up. Reapplying it can do wonders, but only if you're comfortable opening up your console.

Your PS4 might be overheating because of dust buildup inside. Give it a good clean and make sure the vents aren't blocked.

Honestly, it's probably just really hot where you are. Try using a fan to cool down the room or relocate the console to a cooler spot.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
