Have you tried turning it off and on again? It sounds cliché, but restarting the console can fix many problems.

First, try connecting the controller with a USB cable. Sometimes Bluetooth can be a bit finicky!

Hold down the small reset button on the back of the controller for about 10 seconds. Then, reconnect it to the PS5.

Make sure your PS5 firmware and controller are up-to-date. Outdated software can cause sync issues.

Honestly, just use the USB cable. Wireless is overrated.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
