Your PS5 might be updating itself automatically. Check your Rest Mode settings and turn off automatic updates if you want to stop this.

Had the same issue! Turns out it was just my TV's HDMI-CEC setting. Disabling it in the PS5's system settings did the trick.

Sometimes, your console might turn on due to a faulty power button. Make sure it isn't stuck or being accidentally pressed!

It could be the 'Enable Turning On PS5 from Network' setting causing this. Turn it off in the Remote Play connection settings.

A hot take: Maybe your PS5 just misses you and wants to spend more time together! But seriously, check for any connected devices that could be turning it on.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
