Why is my Roku TV screen dark?
Your Roku TV screen might be dark because the brightness setting is too low or the power-saving mode is on. Try adjusting the brightness in the TV settings or disabling power-saving mode. Sometimes a simple restart can fix the issue too!

Could be a loose HDMI cable! This once happened to me, and reconnecting the cable fixed the darkness.
Are you sure someone didn't just put on sunglasses while watching? But seriously, check your TV's picture settings!
Check if you have ‘local dimming’ turned on in your TV settings. It can make parts of the screen appear darker. Turning it off might help.
