Check your internet connection first; sometimes it's the small things that trip us up. If you're good there, try restarting Steam or your computer. Steam might be throwing a tantrum and just needs a quick nap. If all else fails, check if Steam servers are down. Even Steam needs a break sometimes!

Firewall or antivirus might be the party pooper here. Check if they've suddenly decided Steam is an uninvited guest and adjust your settings to welcome it back with open arms.

Just use offline mode. Who needs the internet anyway? JK, but seriously, you might want to check if Steam's undergoing maintenance. Sometimes, no amount of troubleshooting beats simply waiting it out.

Router reboot! Turn it off, wait for a minute (patience is key), and then turn it back on. It's the universal fix for when tech decides to be difficult.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
