Having a lot of background apps and games running at the same time can slow it down. Close them via the task manager.

Your Xbox One S might be slow because the storage is nearly full. Try freeing up some space by deleting unused games and apps.

Could be an issue with the internet connection. Reboot your router or run a network speed test!

Honestly, it's an older console. Newer games and updates might be taxing its hardware. Consider upgrading to the Series X or S if you can.

When was the last time you cleared the cache? Just hold down the power button for 10 seconds to power cycle and clear it.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
