Sometimes, the power supply can be the issue. Try resetting it by unplugging it for at least 10 seconds, then plug it back in.
I had the same problem! Turned out a faulty power brick was to blame. Replaced it, and my Xbox was good as new.
Check if your Xbox is set to auto-shutdown in the settings. You might have an energy-saving feature activated.
