Spotify's price is going up because of increased costs for music licensing and investment in new features. Gotta pay the artists and keep the tunes coming!
They're probably just trying to keep up with the Joneses (Apple Music and the like). Competition can be brutal!
I remember the good ol' days when it was cheaper, but hey, better playlists and more podcasts now. Worth it, IMHO.
