Why is Steam update so slow?
CluingWear路7 months agoSometimes it's not Steam, it's your PC. Make sure you're not running other bandwidth-heavy applications in the background. Downloads also tend to be slower if there's not enough free space on your drive or if your hard drive is fragmented. A quick cleanup can sometimes work wonders!

Ugh, I feel you. But honestly? Sometimes it's just Steam servers being overloaded. Especially when there's a big sale or a hot new release drops. Patience is key (or so I keep telling myself).
Steam updates can feel like they're taking forever for a few reasons. The main culprits usually include a congested network, updates getting downloaded during peak hours when everyone's trying to use the bandwidth, or it could simply be that your own internet connection isn't up to speed. I've found that updating games late at night or early in the morning helps speed things up since fewer people are online.
IDK, mine's fine. Might wanna check your internet?
