The Xbox Series S is cheaper because it's designed to be a more affordable option with lower specs: less storage and no disc drive, but it still packs a punch for casual gamers!

Microsoft wanted to give people a budget-friendly way to experience next-gen gaming. The Xbox Series S has slightly less powerful hardware, which helps keep the price down.

I bought an Xbox Series S and it's been awesome! It may have less storage, but the cloud saves and Game Pass make it a non-issue for me.

It doesn鈥檛 have a disc drive, which reduces manufacturing costs. So if you're cool with digital games only, it's a great deal!

Hot take: Who cares about why it's cheap? It's next-gen for a budget. Just grab it and game on!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
