Honestly, Tokyo Ghoul:re is a hot mess because of its jumbled narrative and fast pacing. Watch it again or read the manga for clarity.

It鈥檚 confusing because the anime adaptation condensed the story for pacing. A lot of essential plot points and character developments got left out.

As someone who's watched both seasons twice and read the manga, it makes more sense if you treat it like a puzzle. The pieces eventually fit together, just be patient!

Tokyo Ghoul:re can be a real puzzle because it introduces a lot of new characters and plotlines very quickly. Keeping up with the manga helps, since the anime sometimes skips explanations.
