Well, Epic Games needs to keep their gold-plated llama statues polished somehow! Seriously though, prices help fund game development and those epic concerts and events we all love.
It's mainly because they keep Fortnite free-to-play. The cost of V-Bucks helps them fund updates, support, and new content.
Supply and demand, my friend. Plus, it supports an ever-expanding, cross-platform game. Totally worth it if you ask me.
