One word: maintenance. Servers need love too, and sometimes they get a bit clingy when they're being pampered.
War Thunder server slow? Might be the sheer number of epic battles going on at once. Try playing during off-peak hours!
Sometimes it's your own internet connection causing issues. Check your ping and maybe reboot your router before blaming the servers.
You ever had TOO much cake? That's kinda like War Thunder servers during peak hours. Too many players, not enough bandwidth.
