Why isn't Boruto based on Sarada?

Well, Boruto is Naruto's son and the show is a continuation of Naruto's story. It just makes sense to focus on his kid!

From what I've seen, Boruto being the star helps bridge the gap from Naruto and lets us explore his world through his own challenges. But hey, Sarada gets some awesome arcs too!
