Check your internet connection first! A slow or unstable connection could stop the update from downloading. If that's not the issue, try restarting your console or PC. Sometimes, a simple reboot can kickstart that stubborn update.
Honestly, just uninstall and reinstall the game. I had to do this once when nothing else worked, and it solved the problem. It's a bit extreme but worth a shot if you're desperate.
Sometimes the servers get overloaded, especially right when a new update drops. Give it a bit of time and try again later. Everyone's trying to jump on the new content at the same time, so patience might just be the key.
