Honestly, the movie already had a packed roster. Adding Kitana might've overloaded the runtime with too many character arcs. Better to do her justice next time.

Kitana's absence was probably a deliberate choice by the filmmakers to focus on fewer characters and develop their stories more deeply. They might save her for a sequel!

In the director's commentary, it was mentioned that they wanted to save certain key characters for future sequels. Looks like Kitana's turn might come later!

I read somewhere that they wanted to establish new characters first before diving into the more established ones. Patience, fellow Kombatants!

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
