Basically, Madhouse got swamped with other projects, so J.C. Staff took over the hero duties for Season 2!

I read somewhere that the change was also due to production timelines and the need to get Season 2 out in a timely fashion. I guess saving the world is all about timing!

Madhouse didn't have time. End of story.

One Punch Man switched from Madhouse to J.C. Staff for Season 2 mainly because of scheduling conflicts and the availability of key staff members. Animation-wise, it's always a juggling act!

Different studio, different priorities. Madhouse had other commitments, so J.C. Staff stepped in. Happens all the time in the industry!
