Striker and Kabal took a little hiatus in Mortal Kombat XL to make room for some fresh and terrifying faces. They'll be back when you least expect it!

Mortal Kombat XL鈥檚 roster had to trim down a bit to fit in all the new characters. Striker and Kabal didn't make the cut this time.

Because the developers ran out of space for all the awesome! No worries, they鈥檒l likely pop up again in future games.

Developers wanted to balance the roster with newer characters and fan favorites, so Striker and Kabal didn鈥檛 make the final list in MKXL.

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
