Why Was Plants vs Zombies Adventures Removed?
DezincingBrute·8 months agoShort answer? PopCap Games pulled the plug on PvZ Adventures to move resources to other projects. Social gaming ain’t what it used to be, and they had bigger fish to fry.

From personal experience, when PvZ Adventures was axed, I was bummed! The reason? PopCap shifted their strategy away from Facebook games, focusing on the bigger PvZ sequels and other platforms. It was sad to see it go, but their other games are just as addictive!
Plants vs Zombies Adventures got shelved because it was a Facebook-exclusive game, and its developer, PopCap, decided to shift focus away from social games to concentrate on other titles and platforms. Basically, it didn't fit into their long-term strategy. Plus, social gaming trends were shifting, and it seems like they wanted to put their resources where they'd have a bigger impact.
