Why Was Soul Eater Removed from FFX4 NA?

You know how it goes! Sometimes content gets adjusted for gameplay balance or localization issues. Soul Eater might鈥檝e just not made the cut.
I read somewhere that the developers thought it didn鈥檛 fit well with the overall mechanics in the North American version. Go figure!
It might have been removed for balance issues or because it didn't align with the vision the developers had for the NA release.
