Why Won't Subnautica Save?
First, check your storage space—make sure there's enough room for saving! Also, try running the game as an administrator if on PC. It could fix any permission issues.

Sometimes, cloud save sync issues cause problems. Try disabling cloud saves and save locally to see if it helps.
I once had this issue, and reinstalling the game solved it for me. Backup your saves first, though!
Maybe your save folder got corrupted. Backup your saves and then delete the "saved games" folder to get a fresh start!
