I'd bet my last dollar that GTA 6 isn't a prequel to GTA 5. From what I've seen, Rockstar Games is always pushing the envelope, not resealing old ones. Every new GTA game brings a new era, new characters, and new cities. Can't wait to see what GTA 6 has in store!

Nah, GTA 6 isn't set to be a prequel to GTA 5. Rockstar likes to keep each game's storyline pretty unique with only some minor overlaps in the universe. Plus, they haven't dropped any hints that we're looking backward in time. Expect something fresh and new!
