As of my last check, GTA San Andreas is indeed backwards compatible on Xbox. If you've got an Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S, you're in luck. You can play San Andreas and relive all those nostalgic moments of causing chaos in Los Santos. Just make sure you have the original game or grab it from the digital store!

Honestly, it's a hit or miss with these old classics. But lucky for us, GTA San Andreas is on the list of backwards compatible games for the Xbox consoles. So, if you're worried about not being able to play it on your newer Xbox, don't be.

Nah, why bother with old games? Time to look forward, not backward. There's a ton of new stuff out there.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
