They haven't announced Tekken 8, but if past games are any indication, they'll probably make some tweaks and improvements to the controls.
Until Bandai Namco confirms Tekken 8, it's anyone's guess. Historically though, controls do get updated and refined in each new installment.
Fight Money and customizable items make each Tekken game flexible, so new control features would fit right in with that philosophy!
Tekken 8 isn't officially confirmed yet, but expect it to keep up with modern gaming standards, including newer control schemes.
