Well, Splatoon 2 and 3 didn't forget the fun of playing side by side! Ye can play locally using the Local Wireless option. Argh, make sure ye all have yer Switches!
Unpopular opinion: Just me but, I think Splatoon thrives more in online chaos. Local's for board games, mateys!

Already happened! You can play local multiplayer in Splatoon 2 & 3, but everyone needs their own Switch.
