Will uninstalling Steam delete my games?

Just uninstall Steam; your games stay put. But remember, without Steam, they're like fish out of water - can't really do much with them until you dive back into Steam.
Actually, if you uninstall Steam, your games are still there. I did it once, freaked out thinking I lost my entire library, but when I reinstalled Steam, all my games were waiting for me. Just don鈥檛 delete the SteamApps folder!
Nah, uninstalling Steam itself won't delete your games. They'll just chill on your hard drive until you decide to reinstall Steam. When you do, Steam will recognize those game files, and you won鈥檛 need to download them all over again. Just make sure you don't manually delete the game files from your Steam directory if you're planning on coming back!
Eh, just download your games again. Hard drives are huge these days.
