Blastoise is underrated
The Blastoise Pokemon Card is criminally underrated. Blastoise is one of the three original start Pokemon’s final evolutions, and it’s even the face of one of the first two Game Boy Pokemon games – Pokemon Blue. Yet despite all of that, Blastoise and its Pokemon Card are nowhere near as popular as its Pokemon Red counterpart, Charizard.
Blastoise is a great Pokemon, from its character design to its power. That’s all without pointing out the fact that Water Pokemon handily beat Fire Pokemon, like Charizard!
Unfortunately, Blastoise is just a victim of a simple thing: a dragon is way cooler than a turtle. Despite all of that, it’s worth learning more about Blastoise, and collecting its Pokemon Card!

Pokedex and Pokemon Card Details for Blastoise
Blastoise is Pokemon #009, and the third evolution of Squirtle. Squirtle then evolves to Wartortle, which then evolves to Blastoise. As Pokemon #009, Blastoise has been in the Pokemon fans’ imaginations since day 1, and has been a prominent Pokemon in the animated series, movies, and video games.
As already mentioned, Blastoise headlines Pokemon Blue, one of the two first generation Game Boy games released back in 1996! Blastoise is also an NPC (non-player character) in the popular Super Smash Bros. games.
Blastoise is a Water type obviously, and carries to powerful water cannons coming off of its shell. Charizard and other Fire Pokemon don’t stand a chance against those! The large turtle Pokemon weighs around 188.5 lbs (85.5 kg) and is around 5 feet tall. Wartortles evolve to it on level 36.
Blastoise is also one of the few Pokemon with a Mega Evolution and a Gigantamax form!
