Trade locked? It just means Valve's making you sit tight with your new loot for a week before you can trade it. Anti-scam measure, kinda annoying but it's for the best. Keeps the market from going haywire every time there's a new drop.

It's basically Valve's 'read the manual' feature. You get something cool, and they slap a 'Do Not Trade' sticker on it for a week. Great for stopping scammers, not so great when you wanna trade ASAP.

'Trade locked' in CS:GO means that an item, like a skin or knife, can't be traded or sold on the Steam Market for a certain period of time. This usually happens right after you've bought or received the item in a trade. The lock period is typically 7 days, which is a cooldown to prevent fraud and market manipulation. So, if you just snagged a sick new skin, you'll have to wait a week before you can flex it on the marketplace or trade it to a buddy.
