What is the rank difference in CS:GO?

In CS:GO, the rank difference refers to the skill disparity between players, measured through the game's competitive ranking system. It spans from Silver I, the lowest, up through various levels to Global Elite, the highest. The real kicker is how you get matched in games: ideally, with players of similar skill, but if you're queuing with friends, the system tries to find a middle ground. This can lead to some... interesting matchups.

Simply put: A LOT. From absolute beginners in Silver I, aiming at the ground like they're searching for lost change, to the god-tier aimers in Global Elite who'll headshot you in their sleep. So, rank really matters if you're looking to gauge skill.
