Actually, leveling doesn’t do squat for Scyther’s evolution. Get that Metal Coat and start trading!

Scyther evolves into Scizor, not based on level, but through trading. You need to trade Scyther while it's holding a Metal Coat for it to evolve. Levels don't matter here, but finding that Metal Coat does!
