No strict order necessary, really. Pokemon Violet lets you vibe and explore at your own pace. Just go with whatever gym you run into first!

Honestly, Pokemon Violet, much like Scarlet, kinda throws the old gym order out the window with its open-world format. You CAN tackle them in any order, but if you're looking for a bit of structure, start with Cortondo (Bug-type), then head over to Artazon (Grass-type). From there, you might wanna go for Levincia (Electric-type), Cascarrafa (Water-type), Medali (Normal-type), Montenevera (Ghost-type), Alfornada (Psychic-type), and finally, Glaseado (Ice-type). This order kinda respects the difficulty progression and gives you a smoother experience without making any gym feel like a brick wall.

Tbh, just hit the gyms in the order you find 'em. The game scales with you, so you're good. But if you're a completionist or someone who likes doing things 'correctly', maybe start with the easier gyms like Cortondo and Artazon to get your feet wet.
